JOB DETAILS:
We're currently seeking enthusiastic students to join our intern team, dedicated to crafting innovative marketing strategies and producing captivating graphic design content for the Lighthouse International Film Festival.
As an intern, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks including graphic design, social media management, promotional support, as well as traditional advertising and publicity efforts.
Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of Google ad utilization, understand image ratio sizes and have basic proficiency in tools like Canva. Familiarity with the film industry or film-related concepts is advantageous. We also welcome interns eager to explore festival planning, hospitality and networking opportunities.
This internship offers a unique chance to delve into the intricacies of the film festival circuit, distribution processes, and the world of indie filmmaking. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
JOB TYPE:
Part-time / Internship
Location: Remote, optional in-person during festival on Long Beach Island, NJ. We also need intern support after the festival.
Looking for team players who work cohesively and well with deadlines. Our team is very warm and welcoming and here to support our interns in whatever way possible.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Curate online advertisements for film festival and submissions.

Attend weekly meetings and workshops.

Research films and creative schemes for marketing purposes and creating advertisements.

Create and edit short 15, 30 or 60-second videos or montages.

Create marketing materials and packages.

Develop new marketing strategies.

Collaborate with peers and superiors.

Keep track of deadlines and remain punctual.

Event planning.

Writing newsletters, press releases.
